For people working through demanding situations

For staff and professionals seeking practical ways to support wellbeing at work. The programme helps you explore how workloads, change, demanding interactions and daily routines affect your responses to pressure.

  • Recognising stress and regaining perspective under pressure.
  • Working constructively with emotions and recurring worries.
  • Making space for rest and recovery alongside work demands.
  • Setting meaningful goals and strengthening working relationships.
  • Contributing to a supportive environment where people can ask questions and seek help.

No previous experience of resilience training is needed.

Learn, practise and apply

Work through the programme in sequence, then return to the practices most relevant to your needs. The emphasis is on applying what you learn, rather than simply watching the material.

Understand

Clear explanations connect stress, resilience and self-leadership with situations you encounter at work.

Practise

Guided exercises and audio breath pacers provide structured opportunities to develop and revisit practical skills.

Apply

A small if–then experiment at the end of each module helps you apply the learning to your own challenges and choose manageable next steps.

You choose your pace within the 12-month access period. Regular practice gives you opportunities to build familiarity with the techniques.

Fifteen short modules in six parts

Each module will take 10–15 minutes: a narrated video lesson, a short practice you try straight away, and a small if–then experiment for the coming week. You will also get two 15-minute audio breath pacers (6:6 and 4:8) and a private lifestyle check. Your individual answers are seen only by Adaptive Resilience. We never share them with your employer. Any feedback to organisations is anonymous and only for groups of 10 or more. The staff edition will use everyday work examples and cover psychological safety from the team member’s side.

Practical skills for wellbeing in working life

The programme gives you opportunities to develop and practise:

  • Recognising your stress response and using breathing practices to regain composure.
  • Stepping back from immediate reactions and considering alternative perspectives.
  • Working constructively with emotions and recurring concerns.
  • Making more deliberate choices about energy, recovery and daily routines.
  • Rehearsing useful responses to challenges and goals.
  • Listening with greater attention and supporting more open team conversations.

You can reflect privately and revisit the materials as your working circumstances change.

Wellbeing is a shared responsibility

Individual practices can help you respond to pressure. Sustainable wellbeing also depends on manageable workloads, appropriate resources, respectful relationships and support from managers. The programme complements attention to working conditions and organisational responsibilities.
